Tandang Sora National High School successfully marked the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027 on Monday, June 8, with a smooth and organized first day of school for all learners.
The day began with an Opening Flag Ceremony at 5:45 AM, bringing together students, teachers, and school personnel to officially welcome the new academic year. The ceremony highlighted the importance of discipline, patriotism, and commitment to learning as students embarked on another year of educational growth.
Classrooms were filled with excitement and enthusiasm as students met their teachers, reunited with classmates, and participated in introductory activities. Teachers conducted orientations, discussed classroom expectations, and introduced learning objectives for the school year. Students actively engaged in classroom discussions and activities.
The successful implementation of the first day was made possible through the collective efforts of the school administration, faculty members, non-teaching personnel, parents, and students. Their cooperation ensured a safe, orderly, and productive opening of classes.
The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) also extended its support in welcoming students and promoting a positive school environment as learners returned to campus.
As the School Year 2026–2027 officially begins, Tandang Sora National High School remains committed to fostering academic excellence, leadership, and holistic development among its students. The successful first day serves as a promising start to a year filled with learning opportunities, achievements, and growth for the entire school.
